CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: To receive a Project GLAD® certificate of completion for any training listed above, participants must attend all days of training and meet all strategy planning and preparation requirements given at the time of classroom demonstration.

        OCDE Project GLAD® Foundations

        Project GLAD® Foundations is a 6-day professional learning opportunity consisting of two parts:

        • Part 1- Research and Theory Workshop (2 days)
        • Part 2- Demonstration Lesson & Planning (4 days)

        Attendance at all six days is required to receive certification in OCDE Project GLAD® Foundations. The OCDE Project GLAD® Foundations Training is available to anyone with a teaching license.

          Early Childhood GLAD®/Preschool GLAD®

          GLAD® in Early Childhood Training Information

          GLAD® in Early Childhood is about creating a rich environment of language, ideas, and concepts. While it is copyrighted as Preschool GLAD®, it is a great match for early childhood educators working in preschool, kindergarten, and 1st/2nd grades looking for ways for students to engage in learning at their entry points with multiple ways to respond.

            OCDE Project GLAD® Training of Trainers – Trainer Certification

            Trainer Certification, Tiers II and III:
            This is offered to enthusiastic GLAD® educators who want to pursue becoming trainers of the framework. There is an application process and trainers in training work in a team of 2-4 for 12-18 months to become certified.
