La Cosecha 2010 is scheduled for November 17-20, 2010 marks the 15th anniversary of La Cosecha which brings together educators, parents, researchers and practitioners who support dual language programs. The conference offers the opportunity to share our experience and knowledge, network and “harvest” the best our multilingual communities have to offer. La Cosecha 2010 will serve over 1,500 participants from throughout the world. They come from all parts of the United States, especially the Southwest and West, including Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas, Our participants represent two-way immersion, developmental bilingual, and heritage language immersion programs.
We welcome exhibitors whose instructional materials and literature focus on home language, ESL/ELD and SSL/SLD instruction. Dual Language educators who attend La Cosecha conferences are looking for literature and content area materials for grades PreK-12 in Spanish as well as ESL/ELD instructional and multicultural materials.
The Planning Committee for La Cosecha 2010 invites your company to submit a proposal to sponsor or exhibit on November 17, 18, and 19, 2010. All proposals will be reviewed by a committee of dual language educators. Exhibitor selection will follow the expressed needs and interests of past La Cosecha conference participants.
Please note that the Juried Exhibitor Selection is based on the quality of materials offered in our students’ home languages (Spanish). ESL/SSL, other New Mexico native languages and multicultural materials in English, Spanish and other languages will be considered. English materials should not exceed more than 50% of your proposed exhibit.
- The fee is $500 per exhibitor table space (8’). The exhibitor’s fee of $500 per table space must be submitted with the proposal, in order to be considered.
- A limited number of 10 juried exhibitor spaces will be available, so that all exhibitors selected may benefit from the high traffic and natural light of the exhibition area.
- All juried exhibitors are limited to one table space. Only sponsors may purchase more than one table space.
- Please insure that payment is received prior to June 29th, 2010 in order for your company’s application to be considered by the committee.
- Checks will be returned to exhibitors not selected.
- Sponsors will receive one to four table spaces depending on level of sponsorship contributed.
- Only proposals received by Monday, June 29th, 2010 will be considered for the selection process. Notification of Juried Exhibitors will be sent via e-mail, by Monday August 2nd, 2010.
